The 2025 Hengqin International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians is a premier international classical music competition jointly organized by the University Mozarteum Salzburg and Zhuhai Huafa Group. Evolving from the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition established in 2015, the event is a distinguished member of both the World Federation of International Music Competitions (WFIMC) and the Alink-Argerich Foundation (AAF).

Starting with this edition, the competition introduces a specialized single-instrument cycle, dedicating the entire 2025 event exclusively to the Violin. Held in September 2025 at the Hengqin Culture and Art Center, it welcomes outstanding young violinists aged 23 and under from across the globe, competing across three age-based categories: Group A (12 and under), Group B (13–16), and Group C (17–23).

The competition features a world-renowned jury co-chaired by Professor Weidong Tong and Professor Emeritus Paul Roczek, alongside celebrated international violinists and pedagogues such as Ning Feng and Hagai Shaham. In the final rounds, contestants perform alongside the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, offering young musicians an authentic stylistic collaboration rooted in the Mozartian tradition.
